The aluminum content in tap water in Kostroma exceeded the maximum permissible concentration almost three times, told RIA Novosti on Friday, senior assistant director of the regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Olga Vakurova.

The investigation in Kostroma start inquiry into supply of drinking water of inadequate quality. Problems with water supply in Kostroma began on the night of Sunday to Monday. She said that now the investigation determines whether this concentration of aluminum danger to life and health. If doctors will conclude that this concentration is dangerous, then the result may be decided that a criminal case under article "services that do not meet safety requirements."
