The visit of the large anti-submarine ship (BPK) "Marshal Shaposhnikov" Pacific Fleet (PF) to the Republic of Seychelles. It coincided with the traditional annual carnival here.

February 8 official delegation of the crew of the Russian ship took part in the opening of the carnival, and the crew members — directly in views and carnival processions of the program, which lasted until February 10.
During the parade, the Pacific Fleet demonstrated their combatant military bearing, and the Marines to the applause of the audience showed numerous martial arts techniques. Just a festive program was attended by about 80 Russian sailors.

During the visit, the crew took on board a delegation of employees of the Russian Embassy in Seychelles and their families, members of the Russian community and the many local residents who wanted to attend a tour of the warship.
Recall that the large anti-submarine ship "Marshal Shaposhnikov" under the command of Captain 1st Rank Andrey Kuznetsov February 7 arrived on an unofficial visit to the port of Victoria (Republic of Seychelles).

During their stay the crew BOD "Marshal Shaposhnikov" in the Seychelles official Russian delegation paid a protocol visits to the Minister of Internal Affairs and Transport of the Republic Mr Zh.Morganu, Chief of Armed Forces Brigadier General L. Payet and visited the naval base of the Seychelles Coast Guard.
Late in the evening of February 11 Russian sailors left the hospitable Seychelles and headed to the port of Dar es Salaam United Republic of Tanzania, where a business trip will arrive on February 16.
