Number of forest fires in Russia over the weekend has risen from 29 to 31 of the hearth, the most difficult situation is stored in the forests of the Siberian and Urals Federal Districts, said the FFA.

According to the ministry on Monday, in Russia there are 31 forest fires on a total area of 1.2 thousand hectares, 30 of them on the forest lands. Threats to settlements and no economy.

Thus, in the Krasnoyarsk region, there are two forest fires in the area of 295 acres, in the Tomsk region — one fire in area of 420 acres, in the Chelyabinsk region — four forest fire in the area of 163 hectares.

"High, places extreme fire danger is expected to c 21 to 23 August in the east of Volgograd and Saratov regions, Astrakhan, Orenburg, in the south of Chelyabinsk and Novosibirsk regions, in the west of the Altai Territory," — said the agency.

The main causes of forest fires are careless with fire and weather conditions, said the FFA.
