Area of forest fires in Siberia fell three times a day — up to 93 hectares

The area of forest fires in Siberia for the day dropped by almost three times — up to 93 acres, but the number of seats while not significantly reduced, according to the District Department of Forestry.

"For the past day working area fires has reduced by almost three times. Today, the district has 12 forest fires in the area of 93 hectares. Fires are still registered in the Krasnoyarsk and Tomsk region," — said the agency.

On Tuesday morning there were 13 centers with a total area 265 hectares.

According to the department, by the Forest Service for the day liquidated eight new and previously recorded forest fires in the area of 465 hectares.

Threats to human settlements and economic facilities in the area do not.

In order to stabilize the forest fire situation remains special fire mode (restriction on visiting forest) across the Trans-Baikal region, Tomsk region and in the six districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
