Experts have identified a fish with a human jaw caught in the Chelyabinsk region. These are found only in Texas.



Russian State Fisheries Committee has published the information on the identification of a mysterious fish that managed to catch a resident of Chelyabinsk region in one of the country's rivers blue lakes, also known as the Southern Urals.

It was found that the fish, whose jaw shocked the lucky angler to its almost complete similarity with the human jaw is not really a mutant. According to experts, the kind of fish it is known, including the fact that it is found only in one place — in the U.S. state of Texas.

Its Latin name Archosargus probatocephalus, as the Americans call it Convict fish, which can be translated as "sheep's head" and a "fish-convict." The jaw of the fish is really similar to humans, and the structure of the teeth — too.
