To analyze and clarify the circumstances of the incident Kurgan Center for Hydrometeorology samples were taken in the virgin snow area. Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Kurgan region sent them into a regional center providing state control and monitoring. Provided samples for analysis was made of snow. Established that no exceedances for components contained in the colored sediments there. With the passage of melt water through the filter and after the separation of sand, it is completely cleaned and acquired transparency.

According to the Kurgan Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, the holidays cyclone passed over the area, which was formed in the north of the Caspian. Unusual color snow gave them brought microscopic particles of sand and earth.
