At nuclear power plants in India Kakrapur burst capacity of spent fuel

Four police NPP "Kakrapur" in the Indian state of Gujarat received minor doses of radiation because of the incident at this plant, which is described as a minor, said Tuesday the Indian newspaper Times of India.

The newspaper said the four workers received doses of 90 mSv, up slightly from the generally accepted norm of 60 millisieverts for a breakthrough two containers of spent fuel. The workers were necessary examination in the hospital.

In connection with the incident, the two responsible persons barred from working, reports "Interfax".
