New earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred in the Turkish province of Van

An earthquake with magnitude 5.2 occurred near the Turkish city of Hakkari in Van province affected by the earthquake of magnitude 7.2 on Sunday, said on Thursday the U.S. Geological Survey website (USGS).
According to the service, the tremors have been recorded in 11.04 local time (12.04 MSK). The earthquake was located at a depth of 14 kilometers. The epicenter was located 34 kilometers south-east of Hakkari, near the border with Iraq.
Information on casualties or damage were reported.
Earthquake of magnitude 7.2 occurred in the province of Van on October 23. Local seismologists in the day reported that the death toll from the disaster could be between 500 to a thousand people. As of Thursday morning, the death toll was 523 people, more than 1.6 thousand injured.
