In Afghanistan, an avalanche buried the more than 20 peopleMore than 20 people died during the day under the avalanches caused by the persistence of the past five days of snow, in the central Afghan province of Dai Kundi, said on Tuesday the press service of the Government.

According to the governor of Uruzgan, Dai Kundi Kurban Ali, only 21 people were killed and injured five. Three avalanches came down from the mountains in the county Saht Takht Bandar, completely burying several houses of local residents who are victims of the disaster.

Governor's press service reports that many highways and provincial roads were blocked snowdrifts, making it difficult to deliver in incommunicado areas of food and fuel.
