In the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan earthquake with magnitude 5.4

Earthquake of magnitude 5.4 occurred on Monday in the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan, the website of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

The earthquake occurred at 09.32 local time (02.09 MSK).

Quake epicenter was located 170 kilometers from the capital, Kabul, and lies at a depth of 48.9 kilometers.

Information on the possible destruction and injuries were reported.
