Since April 14, Belarus and Russia will hold consultations on the issues of credit and financial cooperation, BelaPAN. Consultations are held with the participation of representatives of the ministries of finance and national banks of the two countries.
The agreement to hold consultations was reached on April 11 in the course of the Belarusian-Russian talks in Moscow.
As you know, in late March, the authorities of Belarus Ministry of Finance gave Russia a draft program of measures to stabilize the macroeconomic situation. The presence of such a program — a prerequisite for allocation of Russian state credit for 1 billion dollars and a loan of 2 billion dollars from the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund.
