Earthquake of magnitude 7.6 occurred in the area of the archipelago of Vanuatu

Earthquake of magnitude 7.6 occurred in the western part of the Pacific Ocean near the archipelago of Vanuatu, according to RIA Novosti.
Quake was recorded at 16.16 MSK. The epicenter was located 135 kilometers west of the city Isangel. Its center lies at a depth of 24.4 kilometers.
Due to the earthquake the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii (Pacific Tsunami Warning Center) reported the tsunami threat to Vanuatu, Fiji and New Caledonia.
