PAK FA is the first to break the sound barrier

A prototype of a promising fifth-generation fighter T-50 (PAK FA) during the flight test to break the sound barrier, reports "Interfax". According to the source agency, the first supersonic flight took place "last week" and was considered a success. Currently, prototypes of the aircraft flight test program run at supersonic speeds. According to the schedule, the test airframe PAK FA will be completed in 2011-2012. Technical details of the T-50 are classified.
