The world’s first ballet in 3D display is made possible by the Mariinsky Theatre

Fans of ballet, living on different continents, today will feel the effect of the presence of the ballet "Swan Lake," which will be shown this evening at the Mariinsky Theatre. For the first time in the world in the twenty-first international festival "Stars of the White Nights" theater will carry with her istoricheskoystseny live broadcast of ballet in 3D. Show starts at 21:30 MSK. The conductor will rise this evening initiator of the project, the artistic director of the Mariinsky Theatre Valery Gergiev. The main roles will be performed soloists Catherine Kondaurova and Timur Asgerov.

 

To the audience, who at this point will be in the room to join an international audience in 50 countries around the world, where the play will go to the cinemas in 1200. Among the many thousands of spectators will be the Russian audience. International is implementing the project team, which includes experts from the UK, the U.S. and Russia.
