More than 50 people have been affected by Typhoon Ma-on in Japan

Because of typhoon "Ma-on" passing over the south-east coast of the Japanese island of Honshu, hurt 51 people, another person was missing, told broadcaster NHK.

Tuesday, when the typhoon ravaged the coast of the island of Shikoku, in the prefecture at Tochi over the banks of the river was discovered mini-tractor without a driver. The police assume that the owner of the vehicle was blown river, and is searching for this man.

Wind speed at the center of the typhoon — 30 meters per second. Typhoon moves to the east at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. Heavy rain at levels up to 80 millimeters per hour are expected in areas of Kinki, Tokai and Kanto. On the entire Pacific coast of Honshu expected heavy rains, a day can drop 200-450 millimeters. On the coast, the wind speed will be 20-30 meters per second.

About two thousand people from 14 prefectures prefer self evacuate and wait out bad weather at the evacuation center. Another 5.25 to thousands of families from eight prefectures proposed evacuation.

In the south of Honshu canceled 130 flights.

Stopped traffic on many sections of motorways.

Heavy rain and wind will continue until Thursday morning because of the low speed of the typhoon.
