Production Superjet in Komsomolsk-on-Amur

Sixth visit in Komsomolsk-on-Amur aviation plant and KNAAZ happened, in less than five years after my last visit here, when the plant was still called KnAAPO. When just beginning production Superjet, I raided here every six months as tassovskogo photojournalist.

On inspection and survey of DSP (final assembly shop) we had only one day, which I was not enough. So I supplemented her story photo from the archives for completeness.

4.First assembled aircraft assigned a number 95002. The first flying machine, the second is placed on the ground tests. At GSS first flight 95001, 95002 and static. Second, you never get a conclusion on the first flight without crimping machines for static, at least a minimum.

6.For the third time in July 2007, a group of journalists showed the board number 95001 on the docking station to the DSP. It would give him wings, tail (fins), and by September, the aircraft will be ready to appear for the first time to the public.

Then came a break in almost five years (during which time there were several shootings in Zhukovsky, TsAGI, at international air shows), and here I am again at the factory! Only now it's not called KnAAPO (Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association) and KNAAZ — Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant named after Yuri Gagarin. A Superjet collected at the branch — Knafo CJSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft.
