Among the supplied measuring instruments include small two-way radio station complexes for processing measurement information and relay stations. In 2014 it is planned to complete the upgrading landfill antenna complex and time system.
It is assumed that the assessment of the tested samples and the effectiveness of their operational use will be carried out automatically.

It is at the Kapustin Yar testing completed more than 20 types of weapons and military equipment, including — missile system operational-tactical "Iskander-M", anti-aircraft missile and gun complex "Armour-S" anti-aircraft missile systems "Tor-M2" and "Book", anti-aircraft missile systems S-300 and S-400 multiple rocket launchers "Smerch", and conducted regular tests warheads of intercontinental ballistic missiles and other equipment.

Today, the State Central interspecies "Kapustin Yar" is a single research complex, which has a high scientific and technical potential, the development of experimental and technical base, favorable climatic conditions, territory and air space to allow testing and refinement of a joint offensive and defensive weapons systems for all services and arms of the Armed Forces. In particular, the test elements of the combat equipment of ballistic missiles "Kapustin Yar" is unique. Only the test routes and landfill measuring system allows testing of advanced combat equipment throughout the range of possible conditions of delivery to targets.
