Buryatia is leading in the growth of the industrial production index in Siberia

The index of industrial production for the district for the first quarter of 2013 amounted to 101.5%. The largest increase — 19.3% achieved in the Republic of Buryatia. High rates were also observed in the Trans-Baikal region — 7.1%, Irkutsk (8.8%) and Novosibirsk (5.2%) regions.

In all farms SFO produced 304 thousand tons of meat (105.8% of 1Q. 2012.), 925.4 thousand tons of milk (92.3%), 1.5 billion eggs (103.2%) . For the production of meat per capita in the lead Altai Territory (26.9 kg), Omsk (25.6 kg) and Tomsk (24.6 kg) of the region. In the Republic of Buryatia, meat production per capita was 4.9 kg in the neighboring regions — the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Irkutsk region — 5.9 kg and 9 kg, respectively. Milk production per capita is also the first place Altai (102.3 kg), followed by the Republic of Khakassia (63.8 kg) and the Omsk region (58.2 kg).
