INDIA TESTS NEW MISSILE SUBSYSTEMS
In India, passed another successful test of the Russian-Indian supersonic missile «BrahMos» whose purpose was to test some new subsystems of Indian origin.
 
32nd launch vehicle development programs from within the family «BrahMos» was produced at 10.32 local time on a universal launcher at Chandipur test site off the coast of the eastern state of Orissa, according to ITAR-TASS.
 
As the agency said by telephone from New Delhi representative of «BrahMos» tests aim was to test some new subsystems of Indian origin, used in rocket design. These subsystems was started in India in the framework of resistance of serial production of missiles «BrahMos». More than 25 such systems are introduced into the design of the rocket.
 
During the 32 th test flight of the missile tested, namely, brand new board power supply system, a number of component materials for airframe missiles, different electrical wiring and brand new guidance system.
 
Data acquired during the tests from different telemetry stations will be analyzed for volume production component of the Indian missile industry.
