More than 100 Americans are killed every day at work

The results showed that about 150 U.S. citizens are killed every day in the workplace. In the service of the safety of the country lacks qualified staff.

The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) conducted a study and found that in 2011 more than 4.5 million workers were killed on the job.

In addition to the direct deaths during the process, there is another danger. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that about 50 thousand people die from occupational diseases.

Recent industrial disasters in Texas and Bangladesh attracted particular attention of the international community on this issue. The plant fertilizer in Texas killed 15 people, injured hundreds. As a result of the collapse of a factory in Bangladesh, the death toll exceeded 600 people.
