Severodvinsk shipyard "Sevmash" completed a first series of strategic nuclear submarine "Alexander Nevsky" Project 955 "Borey" for sea trials. The next few days will be released in the first submarine in the White Sea.
Earlier in the Pacific Fleet was formed by the ship’s crew, commanded by Captain 1st Rank Basil Tankovid, people have been trained in the Navy training center in Obninsk and training on nuclear submarine "Yury Dolgoruky".
The decision to start sea trials of the first batch and the second ship of Project 955 was taken command of the Russian Navy and the management of "Sevmash" September 30, 2011. In preparing the submarine for sea trials the ship was made demagnetization (decrease of magnetization in order to protect the body from the sea mines and improve the accuracy of the onboard navigation equipment).
