Spetskompani put TransContainer 400 platforms in the amount of 1 billion rubles.

Russia’s leading rail container operator JSC "TransContainer" signed a contract with "Spetskompani" for the supply of 400 flatcars in the amount of 1.018 billion rubles to the report of the company. Platforms should be delivered in the second quarter of 2012.

In the "TransContainer" added that the production platform of "metal factory" 

"TransContainer" reported that in 2015 plans to increase the share of long-wheelbase platform vosmidesyatifutovyh in its fleet from 25% to 50%. According to the data on the operator’s website and its fleet flatcars to start the second half of the year amounted to 24.2 million units (5.9 thousand forty-foot platforms, 13.7 thousand sixty-foot, 4.6 thousand vosmidesyatifutovyh) and 58,728 thousand containers (41.765 thousand and 16,963 twenty-foot thousand forty-foot).

JSC "TransContainer", created in March 2006, operates about 25.5 thousand platforms, its own network of railway terminals in 46 railway stations in Russia — from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok — and operates a terminal in Slovakia. The volume of traffic "TransContainer", according to the preliminary operating data, in 2011 increased by 13.3% to 1.362 million TEU.

The largest shareholder of "TransContainer" Railways are holding 50% plus one share. FESCO owns 21.1%, EBRD — about 9%, the trustee reserves NPF "Welfare" — 5.2%.
