The new medical center opened in Pskov region

November 15 opened in Pskov regional vascular center.
Vascular Center consists of three primary offices: Pskov, Pskov and the Island, and immediately the center itself. At the regional hospital opened two offices at once a total capacity of 120 beds.

The new health facility was established on the basis of the Pskov Regional Hospital as part of a regional program to modernize health care and the federal target program "Improving care for patients with vascular disease ".

The Centre will provide high-tech medical care to all residents of the Pskov region in need of treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

According to the press service of the regional administration, the establishment and equipping of the center sent to more than 300 million rubles, of which nearly 1.24 billion — the regional budget. Apart from the main vascular center in the Pskov region in the program opened two primary vascular compartment — in the Island and the Great Luke.

For the Pskov region as a region with high levels of mortality from cardiovascular disease among the working population, the organization of vascular network of institutions — the ability to pick up medical care to patients with this disease to a new level, to reduce death and disability from diseases of the cardiovascular system.

Within two years, the region will receive the modernization of the regional health care system of the order of 3.5 billion rubles. These funds will be used to strengthen the material and technical base of medical institutions, the introduction of modern information systems and modern standards of care, improving patient access to medical care.
