Two new Mi-35 will go to the air base combining air and air defense in Budennovsk

In the near future the two modern Mi-35 will go on air base combining the Air Force and Air Defence in Budennovsk, said "Stavropolke" head of the press service of the Southern Military District, Colonel J. Gorbul. 

New equipment will replace the Mi-24 and the end of 2012 to replace them completely. It should be noted that the Mi-35 is designed to destroy armored vehicles, fire support units of the Army, and the assault force to evacuate the wounded, as well as the transport of goods. The helicopter has night vision, thermal imaging system, which enables the clock to detect objects at a distance of more than four kilometers.
