Today, the city Pokrovsk Khangalassky Ulus of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) is a powerful center of a new advanced industry. The edge of the endless tundra and taiga, hundreds of years to feed the reindeer herders and hunters, is becoming the locomotive of innovative development of the Far East. A hero of the occasion — the first stage high-tech production of continuous basalt fiber and products derived from it.

Material that can change the construction industry

Basalt technology existed for a number of years, but as long as Russia does not have a decent development. Today, there is a large plant in Dubna, four Russian factory, having from two to four small furnaces, output is low, despite the economic attractiveness. Basalt continuous fiber can open a new era in construction technology. Fittings manufactured from it at a much lower weight has increased strength characteristics, practically never rust. These qualities make it an indispensable material where it is about building in harsh environments with large temperature differences, significant moisture. It’s a big part of the territory of the Russian Federation.

Yakutia will give thousands of tons of new material

Implemented an innovative project in Yakutia "Basalt — new technology" has the meaning to go far beyond not only for the Republican box, but outside of the Far East region.

The new company could become the largest manufacturer of valves and other products made of basalt continuous fibers. In the first stage there are two ovens, and the only question of time and investment to the commissioning of ten more. Twelve furnaces will produce annually at least 2,260 tons of continuous basalt fiber, 2,600 tons of basalt plastic reinforcement, up to 32 thousand cubic meters bazaltobetonnyh designs and products. It will be a reality in full within five years. The rate of development of the project is impressive especially given the fact that the project was born only two years ago. It was two years ago, in May 2010, an agreement was signed between the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the "RUSNANO". Investors at an early stage are the Republican Investment Company (JSC "RIC"), "Bank of Moscow" (according to the program of the Russian Development Bank "Funding for Innovation and Modernization"), at the end of 2011 the project invested federal institutions of "RUSNANO" and "SMEs Bank ".

If we talk about the economic direction of the project, in the opinion of Yegor Zhirkov, CEO of "TBM" and the project manager, the main idea is to turn and face a wide range of industries. Scope of the materials manufactured in the Intercession,? energy, utilities, construction, that is the most massive industry.

Necessary technological perfection is only in Russian

The uniqueness of the production is indirectly confirmed by attempting to copy a Chinese production. As you know, our neighbor only economically developed flair for interesting projects. But make quality has not yet obtained a copy. No proper thickness, there is no uniformity of fiber.

To ensure the necessary thickness of material, melted at a temperature of 1500 degrees, unrolled in a centrifuge at a speed of six thousands of revolutions per minute and the resulting filaments are stretched very expensive nozzle made of refractory metals. And here, the thread is not broken, you need to catch a very subtle physics and chemistry of the process. Here and buried Russian know-how, which are not yet able to reproduce not only the Chinese, but also Japanese, and Americans. We would like to, but can not.

And all this high technology is fully realized in Yakutia. Much has already been done, as evidenced by the high ratings of the international jury of experts and the Grand Prix at the Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments. We can say about the technological revolution not only in the scale of the republic, but the whole of the Far Eastern region. Started a project with a small container of basalt, which Yegor Zhirkov brought to the Moscow plant of Yakutia. For the experiment of this stone in Zelenograd made fiber and Biisk? fittings, confirming the quality of the feedstock. Today Yakut factory being run at full capacity will double the production of basalt in the Russian Federation.

A small miracle Management

Basalt continuous fiber? One of the few projects, having been born in Russia, but here and found the incarnation. Already there are serious production in a number of cities in Russia, there are regions and businesses wishing to enter into a new realm. But so far the most successful implementation of the Yakut. Somewhere problems with the site, one can not solve the problems of financing, such a plant can not be built, they say, for a ruble. At various points? different problems. Good luck to everyone trying to develop high Russian technology. In Yakutia, everything turned out remarkably quickly, not even once in the Russian way quickly. The rate was determined to address the issue of a young and strong team of organizers gathered Yegor Zhirkov, his tenacity and strong support of the Republican leadership.

The new plant with a large volume of production — is jobs. The large volume of production — is significant tax revenues, and the dispensation of social stability. High technology — is the driving force for the overall intellectual development, engineering skills, a good impetus to the development of applied sciences. In general, realized initiative of "TBM" goes far beyond just cost-effective production. For Yakutia is one more proof of the necessity and the possibility of industrial and social progress.

A Republican successes are the envy of many Russian regions. More recently, fully subsidized republic held high-level sporting events world-class "Children of Asia", and in the industrial production, it is at the cutting edge of technological progress. And there is confidence that the processes running in Yakutia today — it’s here to stay.
