The heat in the northwest of Mexico could reach almost 50 degrees

June 28, 2013. The state government of Sonora in northwest Mexico are sounding the alarm: According to forecasters, on Friday, the thermometer in some areas of the state can rise to 49 degrees Celsius.

The Civil Defense reported that this unusually high temperature in June is associated with an area of low pressure formed over the states of Sonora and Baja California.

Very hot period will last about four days, but the authorities do not expect a quick change in the weather and prepared a special asylum, where people can take refuge from the heat. Now residents to alert you to the possibility to use these shelters to wait out the hottest hours and do not risk their lives.
