In the processing of concrete help Lightning Facts
Scientists working with the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, claim that they have found a way to use lightning to simplify the processing of concrete waste remaining from the collapsed buildings.
As they explain, the processing of concrete is not as simple as it seems at first glance. And while the scientists had not thought to use the zipper for crushing concrete debris, the only possible way to re-use has been split and use as a base layer for the building of earth roads or building foundations.
The new technology of concrete debris will be heated with short pulses of artificial lightning that initiates the process of separating the gravel directly from cement materials. The inventors of this approach to the processing of concrete expected that within two years of their method may be used in various industries. The volume of processing will be around 20 tons of concrete per hour.
