Construction of the center for the production of nano began in Dubna (Moscow region).

JSC "Akvanova Rus", project company JSC "RUSNANO", engaged in the development and production of chemical products of nanoparticles for the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, has started construction of its scientific, technological and testing center in a special economic zone (SEZ) "Dubna", the press service of the SEZ.

The new center will be developed and produced solubilizate — substances composed of nanoparticles, and help increase the solubility of various substances in the water. There also will be testing solubilizate, their certification and production of pilot batches. It is planned that the center will be located on an area of 2.5 million square meters, the amount of investment in it will be about 200 million rubles, the report says.

JSC "Akvanova Rus" was established in 2010 by the Russian company "KIMA Limited" and the company "Aquanova AG" (Germany) for a project to develop and produce solubilizate for various industries. In late 2011, the Board of Directors of "RUSNANO" made a decision on co-financing of the investment project.
