Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant (NCCP), Tomsk Polytechnic University has presented a complete copy of the model of the fuel assembly (FA) for light water reactor WWR-100, so that students will be able to get acquainted with one of the components of the nuclear power industry, the press service of the university on Monday.

Head of the Department of Chemical Technology of Rare Elements Ioffe Institute, Professor Alexander Dyachenko said the agency that donated TPU assembly — a real, nuclear fuel unloaded from it.
TPU is the only university in Russia, where there is a nuclear research reactor. The University trains specialists for the nuclear industry, as well as special, indirect, associated with this industry. Graduates of the university work in many companies of Rosatom.
