GLONASS technology for the Ryazan school

In Ryazan and the Ryazan region navigational and communications equipment GLONASS installed on all 312 units of school transportation.

On completion of the project to equip school buses with GLONASS equipment announces regional partner of the Group of companies "M2M telematics" — "M2M telematics Ryazan".

The main purpose of the introduction of GLONASS technology — safe transport of schoolchildren by continuously monitoring movement of vehicles and reducing the response time in case of emergencies. Installed on buses GLONASS equipment allows real-time control of the movement of buses on the route and drivers to comply with speed limits. Decision-makers can control the current location and condition of the bus, and the number and total mileage of flights performed by them. The set of navigation and communication equipment includes two-way speakerphone, and an alarm button.

To control the information on the movement of school transport in real time to the Office of the State Road Inspection at the Ryazan region, the Ministry of Transportation and Highways of the Ryazan region, the Office of Education municipalities Ryazan region. Coming soon to provide additional navigation information to all institutions of education that school buses are equipped with GLONASS equipment, and are responsible for the delivery of school children to places of learning as well as in the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Ryazan region.

The equipment is equipped with GLONASS school transport in Altai Krai, Volgograd, Kostroma and Kostroma region, the Republic of Chuvashia, Vologda, Kaluga region, and many other subjects of the Russian Federation.

Harnessing the power of GLONASS throughout Russia, as well as outside it has become possible thanks to the deployment at the end of 2011, the group of spacecraft (SC) of the Whole.

To date, the spacecraft orbital group of the GLONASS system is functioning normally. In orbit, the spacecraft is 31, of which 24 are used as intended, 3 are on standby and 2 spacecraft are tested before taking into operation.
