Vladimir Filanovskogo in the northern part of the Caspian Sea, developed by "LUKOIL".

In 2012, the PMC has entered into contracts for the supply of pipes with companies engaged in the construction of oil and gas pipeline project "North Caspian": Malaysia's Bumi Armada Caspian (inter-field subsea pipelines) and Italian SAIPEM SpA (underwater pipelines from the field to the onshore facilities in the region of Kalmykia ).

Under the project from July 2012 delivered 70.3 tons of pipes with external three-layer polyethylene coating, including 10.8 million tons of seamless line pipe diameter from 114.3 mm to 406.4 mm production Volga Pipe Plant ( VPP) and the Taganrog Metallurgical Plant (TAGMET) and 59.5 thousand tons of longitudinal welded pipes with a diameter of 559 mm to 711 mm with a wall thickness of 25.4 mm of steel X65 production of VPP.

In accordance with the requirements of the project, the production of pipes was carried out under the supervision of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) at all stages of production, from steel production and shipment of finished products. Before the start of deliveries were conducted qualifying tests confirmed the compliance of the products and technology of its manufacturing requirements regulated by the Rules of classification and construction of subsea pipelines developed (PMPC). According to test results and VPP TAGMET were found PMPC manufacturers of tubular products for subsea pipelines.

"The specifics of the construction and operation of subsea pipelines is associated with the presentation of high requirements for equipment used in terms of safety and environmental protection, — said General Director of TMK Alexander Shiryaev. — Use of welded and seamless TMK products for pipeline under the Caspian Sea is a confirmation of the high quality and reliability of our pipes, as well as opportunities to offer products for the oil and gas industry.
