Ukraine increased exports of chemical industry by 5.6%

In January-May 2013 Ukraine increased exports of chemical industry by 5.6% — to $ 2.1 billion

 


The volume of exports of products of inorganic chemistry for the period increased by 39.1% — to $ 917.9 million

Ukraine for the first five months of this year compared with the same period in 2012, the chemical industry increased its exports by 5.6% — to $ 2.1 billion reported by the press service of the State Statistics Service (State Statistics Committee). This represents 7.9% of total imports in the country.

Imports of chemical products for the period decreased by 5.1% — to $ 3.2 billion (10.8% of total imports).

The volume of exports of products of inorganic chemistry for the period increased by 39.1% — to $ 917.9 million, fertilizers decreased by 4.3% — to $ 646.3 million showed the largest increase exports of gunpowder and explosives — 2.8 times — up to $ 6 million

Among the chemical and related industries largest volume of imports took place in pharmaceuticals, although it declined by 3.9% — up to $ 1 billion
