Ural Turbine Works built a new turbine to Barnaul HPP-2

Ural Turbine Works built a new steam turbine 65 MW to Barnaul HPP-2 OJSC "Kuzbassenergo". The turbine was successfully tested on barring gear, final assembly stage, and accepted by representatives of the customer.

New turbine T-60/65-130-2M for st.nomer 8 Barnaul HPP-2 was successfully tested on barring gear on the assembly stand UTZ. The test report signed by representatives of the customer without comment.

Shipment of the equipment to the station is planned for the month, according to the schedule agreed upon with the customer.

On Barnaul HPP-2 turbine will be installed in an existing cell with the maximum use of the old foundation. The new equipment is installed instead of the end of its life and the decommissioned turbine T-55-130, also produced at the Ural Turbine Plant.

The two-cylinder turbine T-60/65-130-2M a production model manufactured by JSC "UTZ" — a continuation of the serial line of steam turbines T-55 and T-50 that are well suited for long years of service to the CHP Russia and the CIS. In the new turbines using modern components and modified elements that enhance the technical and economic performance of turbine.

T-60/65 to Art. Number 8 — the first of two turbines of JSC "UTZ" to Barnaul HPP-2, available as part of the JSC "Kuzbassenergo" Agreements for provision of power (PDM). Production of equipment for st.nomer 9 is scheduled for completion in the III quarter of 2012, the commissioning of new equipment st.nomer 8 and Art. Number 9 is planned for late 2013 and 2014. respectively.
