Mining companies and mining communities of Khabarovsk Krai in the last three quarters produced 13.92 tons of gold, which is 26.8% more than in the same period last year, according to the ministry of natural resources in the region.
It is noted that for the past nine months increased production of silver, platinum and tin. Particularly striking is the increased production of silver. From January to September produced more than 111.8 tons of silver, which is 80% higher than the same period last year. Platinum in this time produced more than 3.25 tons, up 4.4% over last year's figures similar.
"The increase in silver production was due to the exit at a rich natural deposits of this metal. If in 2011 the average silver content was 148.0 grams per ton of ore, in 2012 — 287.2 grams" — the Ministry of Natural Resources of the region.
