New Russian combat training aircraft Yak-130 for the first time to take part in the flying program of the International Air Show in Farnborough, which will be held in the summer of 2012 in the UK, said Vice President of Marketing and External Relations NPK "Irkut" Vladimir Sautov.
"Guidance" Irkut "corporation decided that the Yak-130 will be further developed under the flight demonstrators. Starting with the world's largest air show "Farnborough-2012" for our potential customers will be performed demonstration flights. Combat training aircraft Yak-130, developed by the Yakovlev design bureau, has been selected as the baseline aircraft for the Russian Air Force pilot training. State tests of the Yak-130 weapons were successfully completed in December 2009. Since February 2010, planes arrive at the Russian Air Force and successfully used in the training centers.
In December 2011, the Defense Ministry and the Corporation "Irkut" signed a contract for the delivery of 55 Yak-130 until 2015. The state armaments program for 2011-2020 provides for the purchase of 65 vehicles. Corporation "Irkut" in 2011 started the delivery of Yak-130 for export. Negotiations are under way with a number of countries. Capacity of the market in the medium term is estimated at 250 cars.
