Photographer and aviation enthusiast Gian Luca Onis (Gian Luca Onnis) January 25 imprinted 6 stealth fighter F-22 Raptor, 2-KC-135 tankers and 1st KC-10 flying over the peninsula of Sardinia (Italy) on the way back in USA.
Returning to Holloman AFB (Piece NM) «stealth» were clearly visible because of long snow-white contrails.
6 F-22 Raptor arrived at Al Dhafra (UAE) April 20, 2012 via Moron (Spain).
At the time when the 6 stealth fighters of the 49th Fighter Wing returned to the continental United States, six F-22 3rd Fighter Wing flew in working direction (through Lajes, Azores) to change them in the Persian Gulf .
Noteworthy that unlike the F-22A Air Base Holloman «raptors» third wing joint airbase Elmendorf-Richardson (AK) is a version of Block 3.1 and are capable of detecting and engaging surface targets using synthetic aperture radar and 8 bombs GBU- 39 SDB.
