September 24, 2013. An earthquake of magnitude 7.8 occurred on Tuesday in southwestern Pakistan, the website of the U.S. Geological Survey.

According to seismologists, the epicenter of the quake was located in the province of Baluchistan in 69 kilometers north-east of the city Avaran, the earthquake lies at a depth of 22.9 kilometers.
