MOSCOW, Feb. 26 — RIA Novosti. Earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred on Saturday in Santa Cruz Islands in the western Pacific Ocean, the website of the U.S. Geological Survey.

Earthquakes have been recorded at 13.10 local time (05.10 MSK).

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 101 kilometers west of the city at a depth of 49.6 Lata kilometers.

No injuries or damage were reported.

According to seismologists, there is no tsunami risk.

Santa Cruz Islands are part of the administrative province of Temotu States Solomon Islands.
