In the east of Indonesia international biological expedition opened a new species of rodents that have no teeth, and a diet composed only of earthworms.

Representatives of the new species were found in the forests of the southern part of the island of Sulawesi, reports gazetaJakarta Globe. The animals received the Latin name Paucidentomys vermidax (which can be translated as "toothed cherveed").
