More than 40 aftershocks were recorded last night in the Northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, where on Tuesday a devastating magnitude 5.8 earthquake, according to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
According to the Civil Protection of Italy, an earthquake killed, at last count, 16 people, one person is still unaccounted for, more than 350 — were injured.
