In June, forecasts Weather Center, the fire danger will be above normal in the south and south-western Siberia, Primorye and Khabarovsk. In the south-western Siberia, and northern Yakutia increased risk of fires continue from July to September.

"Fire danger is expected to be above normal July-August-September in the central regions of European Russia and in the North-West Federal District," — said in a statement.

According to the Forestry Agency, in 2011, 20.8 in Russia have thousands of forest fires, which is one third less than in 2010 and a quarter less than the average for 2008-2009. Area affected by the fire, fell from 2.1 million hectares in 2010 to 1.6 million hectares.
