ELEKTROZAVOD shipped equipment for Olympic facilities in Sochi

Under construction on the substation of 110 kV Ice Palace (Krasnodar Territory) branch of OAO "UES FGC" — Trunk Power Grids of the South shipped two TRDN-80000/110 transformer capacity of 80 MVA, developed and manufactured at the production complex of "ELEKTROZAVOD" in Moscow. Technical parameters, reliability, ease of installation and operation of this equipment complies with the national and international standards.

110 kV "Ice Palace" will be closed energy facility, the equipment is placed in the body of the building, which will eliminate its impact on the environment. New substation will be commissioned in 2011. 110 kV "Ice Palace" will provide electricity to the ice arena for curling, Central Stadium, Olympic Park facilities, sports training facilities, ski slopes, snow-making system and hotel complex.

Over the last few years of "ELEKTROZAVOD" delivered to the branch of JSC "FGC UES" — MES South more than 50 units of transformer and reactor equipment. Provision of modern equipment made for newly built facilities, and for the replacement of outdated and old equipment for the rehabilitation of existing substations.
