Production of fertilizers produced by the Group "FosAgro" in the first half of 2013 increased by 12.9% — to 2.98 million tons, while their sales rose by 14% — up to 2.9 million tons.
Release of urea increased by 83% and amounted to 459.6 thousand tons.
Nitrogen fertilizer production increased by 44% compared to the same period last year — to 675.2 thousand tons.
Sales of nitrogen fertilizers "FosAgro" for the six months increased by 37.5% — to 659.6 thousand tons, including urea by 62.4% to 445.7 thousand tons.
Production of phosphate fertilizers and feed phosphates increased by 6.2% — up to 2,305 tons, their sales increased by 8.7% — up to 2,307 tons.
Production of complex fertilizers (NPK) increased by 0.7% — to 863.2 thousand tons, sales — by 2% to 845.3 thousand tons.
At the same time, the production of ammonium nitrate was reduced by 16.2% — to 182.3 thousand tons.
Production of ammonia decreased by 2.4% — to 521.2 thousand tons.
Commenting on the production results, Deputy General Director of JSC "FosAgro" Andrey Guriev said: "In the first half of 2013 we were able to increase sales as phosphorus and nitrogen fertilizer, to ensure capacity utilization close to 100%.
