The area of forest fires in Siberia has tripled

KRASNOYARSK, April 20. The area of forest fires in Siberia for the past day nearly tripled — to 28 thousand 236 hectares. As explained in the press service of the Siberian Regional Emergency Center, on the morning of April 20 reported 59 outbreaks. 18 of them are localized fires in the area of 19 thousand 354 hectares.

Recall that on the morning of April 19 was registered 81 focus on an area of 9 thousand 815 hectares.

Now wood burning mainly in Eastern Siberia. According to the MOE, the Trans-Baikal Region there are 13 large fires in the area of 26 thousand 481 hectares. Of these four localized fire in the area of 18 thousand 588 hectares. We add that the fire areas registered in Buryatia and Krasnoyarsk.

In West Siberia, the most difficult situation in the Novosibirsk region. There emerged over the past day, seven new wildfires in the area of 95 acres, eliminated ten fires in the area of 322 hectares. Now recorded three focus on an area of 20.7 hectares.

In the Altai Republic and Altai Krai all fire areas eliminated.
