Almost 625 hectares of forest burning in Siberia

Twenty-three forest fires are in Siberia, the total area of 625.1 hectares, said Sunday Siberian regional emergencies center.

At the moment, seven localized fires in the total area of 572.1 hectares, the largest of them — in Tuva on the area of 200 hectares.

In extinguishing fires involving 307 people and 46 vehicles.

According to MOE, mainly fires occur because of "activities of the population."

According to the MOE, the leading cause of fires is "the activity of the population." Therefore, to limit access to the forests and environment monitoring was billed 820 posts, including 158 stationary. Forty-six task forces control the situation in the areas of combustion.
