FESCO Transportation Group has received from JSC "Russian Railways" harmonized technical specifications (TS) for the design and construction of the infrastructure required for the construction of transport and logistics center (TLC) with a rail container terminal at the station. Usady — District of the Moscow Railway.
TLC is located 50 km from Moscow, in close proximity to the highway "Don". It is planned that the annual capacity of the facility is 300 TEUs, an annual conventional cargo — 120 tons. Estimated volume of investments — 134 million USD. FESCO will finance the project through its own and borrowed funds, including those raised in the framework of the previously announced loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for 100 million USD.
As part of the TLC planned construction of an open container yard for storage and storage of loaded and empty containers, covered warehouse area of 20 thousand square meters refrigerator with a capacity of 3 million tons by rail and stage are covered for one-time processing of the twelve covered wagons.
TU provide a significant development of the railway infrastructure design and construction of non-public road adjacent to the station. Usady — District, additional two-departure tracks of the station as for shunting and parking of cars, the organization of a temporary storage warehouse and a customs post and a locomotive depot. The terminal will use its own locomotives FESCO.
According to the vice-president of the railway division of FESCO Transport Group Alexey Grom, construction of TLC in the USADA will be the embodiment of the principle of public-private partnership in the development of transport infrastructure.
