Georgia releases Belarusian citizens

The inhabitants of Brest Irina and Simon Sexton, were detained in Georgia for visiting Abkhazia released.

"They are waiting for the registration of all documents. This will take up to 2 weeks. After that, they will arrive in Belarus", — the press-secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh.

According to Interfax, the Belarusians were released without penalty. However, they received a year of probation because Georgia is considering entry into the territory of Abkhazia with any other territory other than the territory of Georgia itself, a criminal offense that involves imprisonment for 2-4 years.

Irina and Simon were Diachkov custody from October 2.
