Hyundai gave Ukraine the first high-speed train


The first two trains will arrive in Ukraine in late January 2012. Four more will arrive in early May. The six trains will be transferred to the "Ukrainian Railways" for Euro 2012, and will connect four host cities championship.

At the first regular rail routes high-speed trains will run since May 2012.

It was learned that the cost of tickets for the new trains in second class will be up to 220 USD, tickets purchased in advance will cost 160-180 USD.

With the new trains distance from Kiev to Kharkov can be overcome for 3.5 hours to Lviv — 4.5 hours, to Donetsk — for 5.5 hours.

As reported, "Ukrainian Railways" and Hyundai Corporation in December 2010 signed a contract to supply 10 high-speed trains.
