Intel has invested tens of thousands of dollars in the laboratory of Moscow State University

At Tatiana's day, Jan. 25, at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Moscow State Lomonosov opened an updated the Laboratory Intel. Student teams will conduct research in it at the junction of the exact and natural sciences, and humanities. The laboratory will start two new training courses: "Additional chapters on heterogeneous parallel computing", as well as an innovative workshop where students can try yourself as a developer of commercially successful projects in the field of IT.

Investment in the laboratory by Intel amounted to tens of thousands of dollars. The cooperation of Intel and MSU University takes a little more than ten years. At the moment the company is 16 joint projects with universities in Russia, not only in Moscow but also in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod. Total Intel spends on education programs in middle and high schools around the world $ 100 million a year.
