"Our building program is implemented flawlessly through careful planning of all elements of the project — technical, environmental, logistics, as well as security and maintenance. When developing these components, we are constantly consulted with state agencies in all five countries through whose waters the pipeline will pass," — added Ruurd Hoekstra.
The three segments of the gas pipeline will be connected directly to the bottom of the sea at two points. The plot, laid in the Gulf, and the central region will be connected to each other just off the coast of Finland in the spring of this year, at a depth of about 80 meters. Connect the central and south-western areas this summer off the coast of the island of Gotland, Sweden, at a depth of approximately 110 meters, will be the final stage of construction of the first line.
